Volunteering with Offend My Eyes

Volunteering with Offend My Eyes

We take our colourful pop-up shop up to music festivals, comic conventions, LGBTQ prides and other events across the UK every year. As we expand, we're looking for confident and colourful characters to help us out on-site!

What the role involves

You don't have to have experience in fashion or festivals, but someone who is friendly, approachable and likes to meet new people would make a good fit. You may be required to stand for long periods of time, and some events will be on uneven ground.

While the position is unpaid, there are many benefits to volunteering, such as free entry to festivals, up to 100% discount on clothing and the possibility of becoming a long-term worker with paid shifts. The work environment is fun and relaxed and you'll make lots of great memories and even new friends!

Your role would include;

  • Handing out flyers
  • Tidying the stall
  • Chatting to customers
  • Helping the staff
  • Replacing stock

You would be expected to work around 6 hours per day, most likely at weekends with other staff members. While you are not working you can utilise your free entry to enjoy the event. You will not handle cash or be making transactions. Travel to and from the festival is NOT included. Fresh drinking water will be provided at all events and food may be provided upon discussion.

The events

The following events are open for application. More events will be added so check back regularly! While some events include on-site camping, most do not include accommodation so please bear that in mind before applying.

*Some events require a deposit before attending, which will be repaid in full after the event has finished, providing you turn up for your allocated shifts.
